Michael R. Pietrangelo, 64 of Long Branch passed away, Sat. Jan. 9, 2010 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital, East Orange, NJ. Mr. Pietrangelo was born in Jersey City, lived in Newark and Pompton Plans before moving to Long Branch in 2001. He earned his B.S. and his Master's in Industrial Engineering from Newark College of Engineering, Newark, NJ. He was and Industrial Engineer for Continental Can Company, before joining Johnson and Johnson, where he retired from. Mr. Pietrangelo served his country honorably by serving in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam. He was predeceased by his parents Michael and Marian Arcomano Pietrangelo. Surviving his is brother Mark Pietrangelo, Long Branch; and many cousins. Visitation will be Wed. Jan. 13th, 2-4 & 7-9 PM at the Woolley Funeral Home, 10 Morrell St. at Broadway, Long Branch. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thurs., Jan. 14th, 10:30 AM at St. Michael's RC Church, Long Branch. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, West Long Branch.
