Jane E. Schoninger, 71, formerly of Deal, passed away Friday at the St. Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center, at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She was born in Elizabeth and lived most of her life in Deal before moving to Asbury Park in 1989. Jane was a graduate of Highland Manor High School, which is now Monmouth University. Jane was a Medical Receptionist for Atlantic Ear Nose & Throat Associates, Manasquan. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Amie & Marty Drahos, Hackettstown, NJ, Wendie & Ivan Acevedo, La Mesa, Ca.; her Mother Eve Schoninger, Asbury Park; her four grandchildren, Trevor & Kyle Voight and Dana & Caroline Drahos. There will be a private graveside service Monday at Temple Beth Miriam Cemetery, W. Bangs Avenue, Neptune, NJ. The family will have a celebration of Jane's life Monday, 3:00 PM at Tuzzio's Restaurant, Morris and Westwood Avenue, Long Branch. There will be no visiting hours at the funeral home.
