Obituary of Michael D. Ebert

Michael D. Ebert, 37 of Toms River passed away on Tuesday, January 8th.

He was a dedicated employee of Pinebelt Chrysler, Lakewood.

Michael had a passion for all things automotive and loved spending his free time working on cars, going on fishing trips with his brother and father, and was a devoted sports fan of the New York Rangers and the New York Jets.

He had a love for cooking and enjoyed baking cheesecakes for his family, often researching new recipes to try. Michael enjoyed holidays with his family, had a unique sense of humor and was very quick witted. Michael was a great friend to many who maintained numerous lifelong friendships.

Michael was devoted to his son Benjamin. He was an avid volunteer for Autism Speaks, in Benjamin’s honor. Michael contributed his time and talents to many charities associated with the Children’s Specialized Hospital.

He was a loving father, son and brother. Michael enjoyed spending Saturday afternoons at his parents’ home with Benjamin; playing pool, enjoying dinner, and just being together with his family.

Michael is survived by his loving son, Benjamin; his parents, Joyce and Richard Ebert of Forked River; his brother Richard J. Ebert of Forked River; his sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Joshua Hall of Ocean Township and nephews, Gavin and Dominic Ebert.

Visitations will be held Sunday, Jan. 13th 1 pm until his funeral service at 4 pm at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home, 10 Morrell Street, Long Branch.
