Obituary of Betty Rosner

Betty Rosner, 90, of Brick passed away at peace on Friday, March 1, 2019. She was born in 1929 to the late Joe and Molly (nee Guttenplan) Nudelman in Bronx, NY.

Betty was the Lab Coordinator of the Pathology department at Mt. Sinai hospital in Queens, NY.

She is predeceased by her sister Claire.

Surviving are her two children: Fred Rosner of Las Vegas, NV, and Ina Hallam of Staten Island; two grandchildren: Daryl and Erika Hallam; her five cousins: Be Yeamans, and Stanley, Joseph, Abe and Paul Littenberg and her nephew Clifford Taylor.

Betty had a number of second jobs while her children were growing up such as taxi driver and clown. Betty loved clowns and used to go to the annual clown festival in Seaside Heights. She enjoyed traveling and went all over the world. If you named a place, she probably has been there. Betty was very funny and loved comedy. She enjoyed listening to music, her favorites were Pavoratti, Tina Turner, Michael Bolton, Barry Manilow, among others. Betty’s favorite TV shows were The Golden Girls, Cash Cab and Family Feud. She loved going to her senior daycare program and they loved her. They called her a social butterfly. Betty was a very sweet and loving person. Everyone will miss her very much.

A graveside service will take place at Brothers of Israel Cemetery, North Linden Avenue, West Long Branch on Sunday, March 3rd at 10am.
